On this first entry, I will explain myself.

I lived for many years, not really caring about politics. First, I was busy with the normal everyday things in life. Like, work, husband, marriage, friends, relatives. And of course the things that round off that life, books, movies, tv, music.

But, now that I look back, I think the one main reason was the fact my parents were apolitical and as such, did not know much about it. So, the world kept on going with me happily oblivious to what was going on in politics, here and around the world.

It is now, after a certain age, and I won’t go announcing it to the world, suffice to say I have lived long enough to see a change in politics I never thought I’d see. Some have been great, but unfortunately, many have saddened me and have moved me enough to start this blog.

My political affiliation will make itself known if you read the articles I will be posting. Whether you agree with them it is up to you, my mission is not to brainwash you or to change your mind. It is only through knowledge and education that you will come to some sort of conclusion.

There is a lot going on that most people are not aware of. I was not aware of them myself until recently and it is those facts, those things that are happening behind the curtains so to speak that are making me fear for this country and it’s democracy and way of life as we know it.

You the young reader, ought to be aware and know and care what is going on, it is your future and your way of life at stake, and I know that at this stage of your life, these things are boring and you probably think they do not affect you. But make no mistake, the time will come when you will realize how important politics is in your life. And more important how primordial to your life those decissions taken by the people in Washington are to you. Now and later in life.

There will no order to this madness. I am not a professional writer neither am I a political pundit. I am just a woman who is very worried about what is going on, and what will happen to the future generations.

Nothing is more valuable in any society that an educated population, it is the enemy of those who are intent on deceiving and manipulating the populace into whatever agenda they have.

Only with knowledge, can we change what is happening.
